The buyer is Adestra Hotel Group, a Vancouver-based company reported to be backed by investors from China. On its website, Adestra says it "develops one-of-kind hotels and resorts that cater to a high-flying tourist."

The former owner, Delaware North Companies Parks & Resort, will continue to manage the 337-room property.

This is the first hotel purchase for Adestra and the largest hotel sale of the year in British Columbia.
