Terri McConnachie steps down as executive director of the CHBA

Board president praises her dedication to the association and its members

Terri McConnachie is stepping down as executive director of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC.

Terri McConnachie is leaving her role as executive director of the Canadian Home Builders Association of Northern BC.

The board of directors announced her departure Tuesday, saying she's moving on to another opportunity after 11 years.

“Terri has raised the profile of the association, forged significant partnerships, built lasting relationships, and delivered exceptional leadership and advocacy for
the industry, the membership, and the board," said Angèle Heinrichs, president of the board, in a press release. "Her enthusiasm is deeply embedded in our home shows, housing awards programs, educational initiatives, advocacy efforts, and all association activities. We are well positioned for the future and deeply grateful for her dedication, energy
and hard work.”

Her departure is effective Oct. 4.

The board will share more information about the search for a new executive director later this week.
