DEAL | The former warehouse/storage facility operated by B.C. Tree Fruits Co-op at 3335-3345 Sexsmith Rd., Kelowna, sold March 4 for $19.25 million. This was below the asking price of $23.9 million. Unison HM Commercial Realty handled the sale on behalf of Alvarez & Marsal Canada Inc., court-appointed monitor overseeing the co-op’s affairs under the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act. The sale to a private investor included 148,888 square feet of cold storage, warehouse and office space on 18.4 acres zoned I2. The property will continue to be leased by Novem Pharmaceuticals Inc., which secured space at the premises last fall and has plans for expansion.
