A holding company affiliated with Stswecem'c Xget'tem First Nation acquired a lakefront equestrian estate in Lac La Hache for $4.1 million on September 16.

DEAL | A lakefront equestrian estate in Lac La Hache, B.C., totalling 29.8 acres sold September 16 for $4.09 million, less than $10,000 shy of the asking price of $4.1 million. Situated at 3872 Cariboo Hwy. South with A1 commercial zoning, the property includes a 7500-square-foot custom log home built in 2006 with 1,400 feet of private waterfront and an 11,000-square-foot indoor riding arena among the 27 outbuildings. Two 700-square-foot, two-bedroom cabins with kitchens and lake views provide opportunities for rental income. TMICW Holdings Ltd., a holding company controlled by the Stswecem'c Xget'tem First Nation, acquired it from the owner, a private individual.
