New tasting room aims to educate guests about the art of de-alcoholized winemaking

The Okanagan Valley is welcoming its first winery tasting room with a specific twist — no alcohol.

Ones Non-Alcoholic Wines has opened its physical location in Penticton, at the former Monster Vineyards tasting room.

"We are thrilled to introduce Ones to visitors and residents of the Okanagan Valley," said Chris Pagliocchini, founder and winemaker at Ones Non-Alcoholic Wine, in a press release issued Wednesday.

"Our non-alcoholic wines embody a passion for winemaking and a commitment to providing an inclusive wine experience that everyone can enjoy."

Visitors will get to taste a lineup of 0.5 per cent alcohol sugar-free wines, and education about the wines.

The tasting room hopes to become a hub for wine enthusiasts and those looking to explore local tastes and terroir without the alcohol.

The tasting room is open for bookings now.
