A former Vancouver hotel maintenance manager has purchased The Maids franchise for Richmond. U.S-based The Maids is a residential cleaning franchise that specializes in "cleaning for health." New owner Davey Berks said the franchise will cover Richmond, Vancouver, Delta and White Rock.
An initial fee for The Maids franchise is $10,000, plus a territory fee of $28,500; approximately $15,000 for an equipment and supply package; and $2,895 for the software licence. There are also royalty fees and other charges, including fees for training and advertising.
