Canadian franchise chain Mucho Burrito is bringing a new wave of Mexican options to the Muscat Grand Mall in Muscat, Oman. The franchise entered into a master franchisee agreement with the Double Crown Group. It plans to have six restaurants up and running in the next 10 years, said Mark Cunningham, executive vice-president of international operation for Mississauga-based Mucho Burrito.

Cunningham said the company's first restaurant is in a new mall in the Sultanate of Oman, which, upon completion, will be the biggest mall in the country.

"We are proud to be partnering with Mucho Burrito," said Aadham Bin Tariq Bin Taimur Al-Said, chairman of the Double Crown Group.

Locally, Mucho Burrito franchises cost from $217,000 to just over $550,000 with an initial franchise fee for the first restaurant of $20,000.
