DEAL | A 41-unit multi-family property at 4320 Slocan St., Vancouver, sold Jan. 28 to Canadian Apartment Properties REIT. The purchase price of $18.2 million included a small portion of commercial space. Built in 2015, the property is part of a strategic repositioning of CAPREIT’s portfolio towards newer assets and improved cash flow. Brokered by CBRE Ltd.’s National Apartment Group, the deal was facilitated by the assumption of $5.5 million in mortgage debt at an interest rate of 2.3% with one year remaining.
