A 44-acre land parcel sold for $26 million has become the largest land sale by dollar volume in Nanaimo’s history, according to Colliers International.
The Green Thumb Nursery property is one of North Nanaimo’s last large development acreage. The site is currently zoned for agriculture and residential uses, but with rezoning under the Official Community Plan, will allow for medium- to high-density residential and commercial development.
The property is located at 6261 Hammond Bay Rd.
